The sled hill is currently closed due to lack of snow and unsafe sledding conditions. With a new forecast in our future we are looking at opening the sled hill this weekend. There a few cold nights ahead of us that should be great for blowing snow. We will try and get as much down over the next few days and hopefully some natural snow will add to it! Sled hill is open to the public for children ages 12 and under.

Sled Hill hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday 1pm-5pm
Saturday - Sunday 9am - 5pm
*Sled hill will remain open as long as conditions allow. Due to safety concerns, the hill may close when bare spots appear on the hill or other issues the town identifies as unsafe occur.

Beech Mountain�s sledding hill, a wonderland of fun for children 12 and under, has opened for the winter season. Sledding Hill Beech Mountain

Sledding hill is normally open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays; and 1 to 5 p.m. on weekdays, depending on current weather conditions.

The free sled run is located next to the town�s visitors center and provides good sledding conditions with a combination of natural and man-made snow.

The Sled Hill is for kids ages 12 and under. We host a bunny slope for young children that can be accompanied with an adult and the Bobcat slope for the older kids (no adults allowed).

Our staff is there for safety of users and spectators. They can answer any questions you may have. If you want to warm up and need to use the restroom stop in at the Visitor's Center.
