Emmy, Bryan and Max are a Boone-based cover band that cover songs from the 50�s to present . Emmy Welsh(Vocalist) and Max Schrum(guitar, and back-up vocals) began as a musical duo in mid 2014 performing in open-mic venues where they later met and joined Bryan McCutcheon(percussionist) from Banner Elk. They began performing regular venues in Banner Elk and Boone in January 2015.
They focus on songs that are familiar to most, but seldom covered. Their repertoire includes songs from Jefferson Airplane, Ingrid Michaelson, Shovels and Rope, Tedeschi Trucks, Credence, Mama Cass, G. Love, Kinks, Stones, Beatles, John Prine, Four Seasons, Fleetwood Mac, Alabama Shakes, Neil Young, Crowded House, Aretha, Tina Turner, Elvis and many others.
