The 9th Annual High Country Beer Fest is a celebration of education and science centered around craft beer, local food, and great music.
We feature tastings from up to 50 unique breweries, many that are very hard to find anywhere else. The event has four hours of live music, amazing local food vendors, and more.
One of the great part of this annual party is the seminar tent featuring beer pairings and discussions from local artisans and brewers. This is a can't miss opportunity to learn more about the science behind the beer and food pairings we all enjoy.
This is a boutique festival benefiting numerous non-profits through the high country region, as well as the major fundraiser for Fermentation Sciences program at Appalachian State University.
This party has sold out many years, so don't wait to get your ticket. There are $40 General Admission tickets, as well as a limited amount of $80 VIP tickets which provide festival goers with a t-shirt of their choosing, free food, and an additional hour of tasting before the rest of the crowd enters.
This is a can't miss event in the High Country and we look forward to celebrating with all. Take a moment to discover why education and science never tasted so good.
