I am as quick to call for reform as anyone but I have no doubt they are and have been protecting people in the surrounding area.
Let's give them benefit of the doubt and be happy they are there.

I hate to think of the officer "Still on the scene". Is that the media's polite way of saying hostage? They need to end this ****. I'd rather die knowing my fellow officers were coming to get me than the alternative...if that is the case. I hope he's not still in that house.

What baffles me is that they haven't ended the standoff yet, with 15000 cops on the scene.

People have been shot (possibly killed) and y'all's complaint is that they told a school to keep the kids indoors and continue teaching.

The shooter isn't in custody, but he is barricaded inside his house and it's surrounded by multiple law enforcement agencies. There is no reason to lock down a school that is 10 miles away.

If the shooter isn't in custody and by all available information the shooter isn't, if they didn't recommend these actions and the shooter was able to get to the school and harm kids...well then. Exactly how much law enforcement training do you have?
