All the sheep are falling in line with this BS. Getting a little taste of Socialism every week from the liberals. Just hang on, pretty soon you will have to apply for a pass to leave you house. I say, puck the town council and Cooper too if he mandates wearing a mask. He should have been "Tared and Feathered" a long time ago and thrown in the Neuse river.

What the fawk is wrong with you clowns just wear a freaking mask. I have COPD and I wear a mask when I leave my home. I would rather be without it but I'd much rather not risk passing Coronavirus that I might have contracted unknowingly to avoid some minor discomfort. As to only a surgical mask or a N-95 being sufficient protection Bullshift, medical and scientific experts have stated that a simple cloth mask can reduce the likelihood of passing on the virus to 6%. What's it going to take, One of your parents or grandparents dying? For God's sake wear a mask.

"New research shows that this is an incredibly effective tool," a recent study led by Texas A&M University that found that face coverings "significantly reduces the number of infections." The study estimated that the use of face coverings alone reduced the number of infections by over 78,000 in Italy from April 6 to May 9 and over 66,000 in New York City from April 17 to May 9.
A previous version of this article indicated that violations of the Boone mask requirement would be punishable by an infraction, but the language adopted by the council on June 18 stated the punishment is a class 2 misdemeanor.

If you have copd or asthma and it is hot outside those masks are horrible. I wore a three layer mask and it was 80 degrees outside I thought I was going to pass out.

Maybe you missed the part about having an inhaler. Beside the whole thing is since nothing but an N-95 or a surgical mask is going to help you.

I not going to wear one and I'll just claim I have a breathing problem if the JBTs or anyone else has a problem I pull out my inhaler and tell them to go f them selves. Since under section 3(a)-1 this doesn't apply to me.

Finally the mandate. It does describe how you shall wear the face covering. However if you wish you can claim a disability and the liberals who passed it cant question you further and if so its a violation of the Americans with disabilities act.
