Yes i remember the service, massive attendance and Cold as all get out but no one mined that or even seem to realize it.. Very sad indeed, but on your last ? imo closer to family.....

Thanks for your comment. Do you remember anything about the service? And when you say that officials know who did it - did they just not have enough evidence to convict? I'm not sure if you are referring to the individuals who were arrested and went to trial or someone who was, let's say, closer to the family.

I remember i went to their Funeral, there were people walking i guess a mile away to attend parking cars along side of road.. Officials know who did it but i guess we'll never know, why?????

On the evening of Thursday, February 3, 1972 three members of the Durham Family were found in their home on Clyde Townsend Road in Boone, North Carolina. After years of investigation at the state and local levels, the case remains unsolved. Does anyone remember this case? I believe it can still be solved after all of these years...
