This listing is for an ultra rare, Gerber "COMMAND I" Fixed Blade Boot Knife, which remains 100% NIB. This vintage Gerber knife was made in USA (Portland, OR) in the late 1980's, making it nearly 40 years old! Weighing in @ 6 ounces, the knife features an OAL of 9 inches, with a 4 3/4 inch fixed, double-edge blade. The .250" thick blade is straight edged on one side with a serrated cutting edge on the reverse. The knife comes with a full grain leather belt/boot scabbard, with a quick release thumb snap.

These knives sold at a premium when new, & have appreciated considerably in value, with hard to find new-in-box examples commanding top dollar among collectors. An outstanding personal defense weapon in its own right, these kives are now highly sought after by collectors & public safety professionals alike.
