The land is now owned by Watauga county and leased for a very small amount by tweetsie for I believe 7 years then they are to buy it from Watauga. The land that the train tracks are on is the land Decsurvey is talking about

Your attempt to chastise me with a quip probably would have been a great deal more successful if it made sense. I indicated that I lost focus at the point where the individual couldn't name the character that the child had interest in. That was also what I focused on in my "essay."
As for my essay management, my essay game is pretty strong, so I didn't really have to spend a great deal of time on that particular "essay." Even if I did though, my time is my own and I'll probably just continue spending it however I choose. The whole, "I'm going to try to insult you for typing **** out for other people to read" insult always seems to be a pretty silly insult to employ in a forum designed to allow people to type **** out for other people to read. It's kinda' like insulting a baseball player for playing baseball too much during a baseball game. But still, thank you for your focus.

Tweetsie is paying an absorbent amount to lease the land. Several years ago Tweetsie was going to have to move as land owners wanted to sell the land to developers.
Tweetsie's lease is up again in a couple of years. This time I do not think thenland owners will extend the lease in order to sell the land in the high single millions.
Tweetsie has been looking to relocate because of the lease. They were looking at several land aqusitions around NW NC in Caldwell, Wilkes, Ashe, and Watauga.
Enjoy it while it is still there as it may be gone in coming years as lease rates increase and entrance fees go up beyond reason forcing it to close.

Took my child a month ago and it was a great time. Potentially there were just some bad apples that you met. However it may not be for everyone. Grayson, if you lost so much focus how did you still manage to write an essay response. Perhaps you should find something better to do with your time and yourself. 😉

Talk to the people who are visiting , many are there for the first time and seem to be enjoying it as much as the kids. Think about what it costs to go to any entertainment venue . If I remember correctly, Wilkes was hooping Tweetsie would move to here, if they decided to leave their present location.

Kids love Tweetsie , it was a genius idea ! I can't think of any place that doesn't have detractors , some with good reason perhaps. Take it to the top and let them know what's going on , any place can hire the wrong person sometimes.

To answer the original question, it's more expensive because it is kid based! Most parents will gladly deny an indulgence for themselves and overspend for an experience for their child, just to see them smile
And Grayson, of course I know all the characters names and theme songs of my kid's pastimes. I wish I didn't!

I wish schools would stop doing field trips there. I will be yanking them from any such field trip in the future and I wish everyone else to do the same and complain to your local school systems for promoting such a rip off."
Would you also like to dictate that everyone stop wearing the Nike Brand to school as well? You know, if'n you don't prefer and/or find value in the Brand, then your personal preference should strictly adhered to. We get it. You don't like paying for your kid to go to Tweetsie. You could save that money and spend it on something worthwhile, like extra soda or Complaint Form Document copies.

I went there with my son like around 6 years ago and got fussed at by an employee and I didn't do anything wrong. It was one of the shows that had Dory the explorer (or whatever her name is I don't care) there and we came to the tent when the show was ending and my son wanted to meet the two characters that was up on stage and one older man that was working there turned around and told me so hateful that the show was over and to leave. Even one of my friends I was with said dang that was rude. I should have spoke up for myself and told him how rude that was but I just walked away. For that to happen the second time I have ever been there makes me think twice to ever go there again in my life. If I ever go I hope that employee is no longer working there. That was sure a bad experience for me!!!!!!
