This is an old favorite ,so good to eat it hot.

Mix berries and water and sugar ,salt,lemon extract.,bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes

Dumplings combine flour ,sugar,baking powder,salt,nutmeg,and milk,Stir until mixed,drop by Tablespoon into berry mixture,cover tightly and simmer 15 minutes.serve hot and enjoy.
