Resisting arrest, smelling of alcohol and refusing a breathalyzer, hmm, sounds suspicious to me.

Now add refusing to yield to oncoming traffic and you have a recipe for disaster!

And the BIIGEST shock of all, FOX News reported it!!!!

I could care less what his job is its his drinking and driving....to resist in the mean time only adds to his arrogance and to refuse a breathalizer test is his right but again he had been drinking...to smell that with just a window open says a lot for his being just plain stupid to drive....

I'm a democrat, I do not support Virginia Foxx and I do not support her staff driving around drunk, nor do I support anyone driving drunk, it's a crime and it might hurt me or my loved ones.

But calling them a scumbag simply because they're a stupid republican is a bad reflection on the person who said it.

Just calling them a republican is insult enough, don't you think?

And, hey democrats and republicans hit the bottle equally, don't you think?

Agree Grampa but he hasn't been convicted. No I didn't read the artical (about resisting and all) because I don't care my issue and post is over people blindly wanting to judge and punish someone without having their day in court. Mostly over the politics of it not the issue. If he was drunk he made a bad mistake as we all have. His job has nothing to do with it and we wouldn't be here talking if not for his job. If you drink at all you probably have been guilty of being over the limit one time or another. It doesn't take much and I've personally seen cops make bad decissions and cases, from both sides, trust me it happens. Happens a lot around here.

Sorry Cobra I make all my decisions on knowledge and facts NOT ideology which is what the problems are with the Democrat party these days.

Yeah, sure you do.

Sorry Cobra I make all my decisions on knowledge and facts NOT ideology which is what the problems are with the Democrat party these days. It's not Democrats it's Progressives that have taken over the Dem party that are the problem. I don't want to be Europe. Have ya ever been there? You wouldn't want to be either if you have.

Dabbob of course you wish to skirt this serious issue...this man was charged with DWI...do you even care what that means? when you drink and drive your reaction time is diminished....your not paying attention while driving....lord knows how much he had to drink...had he ran into another vehicle he could have not only damaged the other persons car or truck or van...but those inside the vehicle....of course you want too focus on the President...you obviously have not had the misfortune of being hit by a DWI or DUI person....to damage car needed to get to and from work creates an inconvenience...but that is ok rant about a President who has a driver....as pokerthugs points out risking lives due to his error of judgement...in this case his license needs to be taken away and let him find another way to get around....at the wages he is being paid he could have someone drive him to where ever he needs too go....I wonder is he one of those who received a bonus?...being over qualified is not the issue he was driving while intoxicated....wake up like2laugh... as for being judged he refused the breathalyzer and was combative says a lot about arrogance,,,,oh well will see just how this is handled in the courts....V Foxx Find another Chief of Staff who is personally responsible for his action....Time to get down from the post fence on this particular matter its against the law to drink and drive...get caught then you get arrested...plain and simple....

Gillian I'd say the same if it were a Democrat. It's not politics it's ignorance to judge and slander someone, (being done for political reasons here) anyone before you know the facts. The person who started this thread wouldn't have done so if it were a Dem nor would you care. As a Conservative Libertarian I find myself on the side of Republicans more often but I don't like either side because of crack pots who go on offense at the first syllable you think you hear that doesn't sound like it's going to agree with your agenda. And yes Democrats are far worse at it then Republicans, by far.

Now Muse, you must understand. The Republicans are a party of values. And the value they hold most dear is this:

It is always, always, always okay if you are a Republican. Acts in and of themselves are only bad if done by a Democrat.

Fence Post, you wouldn't know what propaganda is. How could you? It's obvious that propaganda has already turned your brain into mush.

of course daboob, focus on Obama, the puppet of the democrat party, while the rest of the idiots in office continue their corruption and illegal behavior at our expense. BLAME OBAMA FOR FOXX'S DRIVER!!!

It's fine to mention it, but to me it seems hypocritical. I am sure that sometime throughout everyone's life, we have all made a huge mistake and just got lucky that we didn't get caught. Don't seem so righteous.

Fence Post.... And quite possibly be the victim of some over zealous cop wanting to brag about getting him and or because of his political agenda.

Yeah, thats the ticket...an over zealous cop framed him. LOL

Cobra have you really been turned away from putting in an app with her admin? Or are you just another lying Liberal presenting disparaging propaganda as fact to bash someone who doesn't agree with your agenda? Which is it? I really would like to know if "Ginnie" stopped you from putting in an app I might not vote for her again if she did. Please do tell.

Gillian

Wow. A Republican is pulled over for drunk driving and if Democrats dare to mention it, they're accused of being an anarchist flash mob.

Way to be over the top, Fence Post.

Fence Post

Keep in mind government enforcement agents are wrong to such an existent that they have court trials and jury's to decide truth and guilt, not punish just because some government agent decides all on his own you should be.

Cobra

I would, but, Ginnie is only taking applications from her fellow right wing nut cases.

I don't know what they do in the Socialist Country you want to be in but in THIS country, USA, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. And quite possibly be the victim of some over zealous cop wanting to brag about getting him and or because of his political agenda. Theres too many factors in the facts I'd want to see before jumping into your anarchist flash mob you want to start because you think your so superior you

know whats best BS, don't bother with the facts go strait to max punishment. Things aren't always what the seem. He's already NOT being treated fair because his name and reputation is forever scared even if he's not guilty by all the publicity that YOU wouldn't get if it was you or anybody else. The papers don't have anymore right to over publish this if their not going to do it to everyone which they don't. I hope you find yourself one day on the wrong side of a LEO's opinion judgment call and you won't be so quick to judge yourself.

I am not condoning this behavior, but dang people he screwed up. Since you guys are such an example to society, maybe you should apply for this position...I am sure you are overqualified though.
